Cal’s role, plainly

Cal’s is a moving company, not an auto carrier. We do not haul vehicles on our own trucks and we do not employ the drivers who do. The transport itself is performed by licensed motor carriers in RunBuggy’s network.

Do I have to be moving with Cal’s?

Yes. Vehicle transport is arranged as part of a long-distance move with us, not as a separate service.

Can I leave belongings in the car?

Ask first. Most carriers do not allow it, and items inside a vehicle generally are not covered by cargo insurance. Some allow a limited amount in the trunk, but it varies by carrier.

How far ahead should I book?

Two to three weeks is a reasonable target for standard routes, and longer for peak season or a remote pickup. Tell us your dates when you request your estimate and we will tell you what is achievable.

What does it cost?
