How Furniture Removal Works

Moving is a good time to let go of the couch that won’t fit, the old mattress or the dresser nobody wants. Because our crew and truck are already at your home, we can take those pieces away on moving day so they never make it to your new place.

  • Only with a move: furniture removal is added to a local or long-distance move booked with Cal’s. We don’t schedule separate haul-away trips.
  • Furniture only: couches, sectionals, mattresses and box springs, dressers, tables, chairs, bed frames and similar household furniture.
  • Tell us when you book: list the pieces you want gone so we can include them on your written estimate and plan truck space.

What We Don’t Take

We’re movers, not a junk-hauling company, so we don’t handle general junk, garage or estate cleanouts, construction or renovation debris, yard waste, appliances, electronics, or hazardous materials like paint, chemicals and batteries. For those, contact a dedicated junk removal or waste service in your area.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer junk removal?

Not as a standalone service. We remove unwanted furniture only, and only as part of a move we’re doing for you.

How do I add furniture removal to my move?

Mention the pieces when you request your quote or call your local office, and we’ll add them to your written estimate.

Can you just pick up one couch without a move?

No. Furniture removal is only available alongside a move booked with Cal’s.
